- Is the Tour really free?
- Yes — free for students, full stop. Right now the Tour is bootstrapped by the instructor; we don't have a corporate sponsor yet (we're looking — see the Sponsors page). You'll never be charged. If you finish and found it valuable, an optional voluntary contribution helps fund the next cohort — but it's never required.
- Why "Tour"?
- We tour the AI coding ecosystem — multiple tools, multiple workflows, multiple model providers. Not a bootcamp on one stack.
- Do I get a certificate?
- Finish the Tour and find out. We don't lead with a certificate — a PDF isn't why you came. But complete the journey and there's a hidden gem waiting at the end for those who make it through. Along the way you also earn the things that actually carry weight: a public PR on the Tour Repo (your portfolio), a demo day recording (your work, shareable), and a reference letter on request. The gem is the reward; the work is the proof.
- Can I join from outside Myanmar?
- Yes. Instruction is English. Cohort schedule is Myanmar evening / SE Asia evening, which works for ~half the planet.
- How much time do I need per week?
- 5-8 hours outside the 4 hours of class. Honest answer: closer to 8 if you're newer.
- What if I can't make a session?
- Up to one-third of sessions can be missed without penalty (recordings provided). Beyond that you risk losing your cohort spot.
- What if I don't have a project idea?
- That's normal for beginners. Chapter 3 helps you find one. Many students enter with no idea and leave with a working prototype.
- Will you teach a specific tool?
- We touch on Claude Code (deeply), plus Cursor, Copilot, Aider, and the broader landscape. We don't promise depth on any single tool besides Claude Code.
- What if I don't speak English well?
- We provide Burmese support in channel for questions. Course materials are English; we recommend Claude itself for translation help — meta, but it works.
- Do you teach machine learning?
- No. We teach AI-paired CODING. Claude is the AI; you're the coder. We don't teach how to build models — we teach how to ship with them.
- Will there be a Cohort 2?
- If Cohort 1 goes well. Subscribe via the apply page.
- How do I help?
- See the sponsors page for organization-level support or individual donations. Or share this site with one developer who'd benefit.
- I have a question not answered here.
